As compared to the previous game, The House of the Dead 2 is more attractive with its co-op multi-play option, longer playthrough, and even more challenging gameplay. This second installment also features dozens of new enemies including the chainsaw-wielding Max and the disgusting Ebitan. The game features a total of 5 game modes including Arcade mode and Boss mode. The game includes an auto-reload feature that can be activated simply by pointing the gun off-screen. Some rescued civilians will reward you with power-ups or even new paths to follow. Shoot all the hostile abominations while focusing on rescuing as many innocent civilians as possible. Just like its predecessor, HOTD2 is a rail shooter that rewards players for accuracy.
